The boy who became inspiration to many youth with just one of his viral video

"

I was born in Almora, Uttarakhand. Born in a poor family, I always had a bag of responsibilities with me. My parents live in my hometown only, father is taking care of my mother who is currently hospitalized. My brother and I are currently staying and working in Noida. We live in the Barola village.

In my childhood, I have listened to and read about the lives of soldiers. I got inspired by their stories of them and decided that one day I will also join the Indian Army. I have a fixed schedule of mine which I follow every day. Just at 19 years of age, I work the day shift while my brother works the night shift. I leave for work at 8 A.M. I work in a McDonald’s outlet which is approximately 10 kms from my house. I leave from there at night and run back to my house so that my body remains fit. Along with this, I also get trained while running, as I do not have any other time to do it.

A few days back, while I was following my schedule, Mr. Vinod Kapri recorded my video and my conversation with him. He asked me why I was running late at night. He even offered me help by saying that he will drop me at my house, but I declined as it will disturb my schedule and also I will miss my training. When I said no to that, he offered me dinner at his house, but I had to say no to that as well. I had to go home and prepare dinner for my brother, who will go to work once I reach.

The video went viral, and I achieved overnight fame. Many big politicians and sports persons congratulated me and gave me best wishes for my hard work. Lt. Gen Satish Dua sir also had words of praise for me and gave me the motivation to join the Army. Atul Kasbekar also sent me a sports kit from Puma, which had running shoes, apparel, and a backpack.

I am enjoying the love and recognition I have been receiving from all around the country, but this may distract me. Fame may become a barrier between my goals and dreams. I have requested that people not treat me extremely special. My brother one day got worried about me when I was taken to a news studio and he did not know anything about it. I also had to take a leave from my shift due to it. I am a normal Indian student who is following his dreams and does not want any kind of disturbance in between.

I am extremely happy today. More than happy, I am feeling much more confident than yesterday for the faith people have in me. One day, I will make the entire country proud once again when I get selected into the Indian Army.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the structure of your blog? It’s very well written; I love what you’ve got to say. But maybe you could do a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. You’ve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?
